When the weather is favorable for observations, the HIGH PORT 354 observation platform of the OKO skyscraper opens access to a 3-meter refractor telescope with a 600x, f/12 achromatic lens.
The telescope has been custom made by professional astronomers and was specifically designed for the skyscraper observation platform. In fair, clear weather, from dusk till dawn, visitors will be able to observe the rings of Saturn, craters, maria, fault lines, mountains and bays on the Moon, Jupiter’s satellites and the famous Great Red Spot.
The space guide of the 354 observation platform, a professional astronomer, will instruct visitors on how to use the telescope. He will also accompany the visual experience with information about the planets and celestial phenomena.
